Notify NYC - Road Closure - Planned
Notification issued 7/6/15 at 8:15 PM. Beginning today, July 6th, the NYC Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin a major resurfacing project along the FDR Drive. Priority repair work is scheduled to happen each week from Monday to Friday during the overnight hours (11PM - 6AM) and continue for several months. The repairs will be done on various sections of the highway and will involve one or more intermittent lane closures each night. Notification issued 7/6/15 at 3:00 PM. Tomorrow, July 7th, there will be a simulated explosion in the vicinity of Avenue B between East 6th Street and East 7th Street in Manhattan. The stunt will occur once between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. NYPD and FDNY will be on site.

Notify NYC - West Nile Virus Spraying
Notification issued 7/6/15 at 12:00 PM. Weather permitting, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will conduct aerial spraying of mosquito larvicide to help prevent West Nile Virus between 6 AM and 7 PM on Tuesday 7/7, Wednesday 7/8, and Thursday 7/9. The spraying will be conducted in parts of the following ZIP codes in The Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island: 10303, 10306, 10308, 10309, 10311, 10314, 10464, 10475, 11354, 11356, 11357, 11691, and 11692. In case of inclement weather, the alternate application dates will be Wednesday 7/8, Thursday 7/9, and Friday 7/10. For more details, go to, or call 3-1-1.
