Notification issued 6/23/16 at 1:00 PM. Tonight, June 23, 2016, the FDNY in conjunction with the U.S. Marines will meet at 9:00 PM to conduct an emergency preparedness exercise at Grand Central (MN). The exercise is scheduled to begin at 11:00 PM tonight and conclude at approximately 4:00 AM, Friday, June 24, 2016. Expect emergency personnel in area.

Correction: Notify NYC - West Nile Virus Aerial Spraying
DATE CORRECTION: Notification issued 6/23/16 at 10:17 AM. Weather permitting, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will aerially apply larvicide to key mosquito breeding areas in non-residential areas (mainly marshes and other large wetlands) between 6 AM and 7 PM on Fridaynbsp; 6/24, Saturday 6/25, and Sundaynbsp; 6/26, to reduce the number of mosquitoes and the risk of Zika and West Nile viruses. A helicopter will be used for this event.
