Planned Weekend Road Closures in ZIP Code 11201: 4/26 to 4/27 (BK)
Notification issued 4/24/14 at 7:50 PM. In support of the Urban Post-Disaster Housing Prototype project sponsored by the NYC Office of Emergency Management, a number of minor road closures will be in effect this weekend. Red Cross Place, Cadman Plaza East, and a small section of Adams Street near the High Street subway station will be closed from Saturday, April 26th at 6:00 AM until Sunday, April 27th at 7:00 PM. Notification issued 4/24/14 at 6:50 PM. Emergency personnel are on the scene of a three alarm brush fire near the West Shore Expressway and Wild Ave in Staten Island. Expect smoke and traffic delays in the area.

As part of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training class, there will be a controlled fire outside of 101-01 Rockaway Boulevard in Queens tonight from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. School Relocation (MN)
Notification issued 4/24/14 at 1:00 PM. Due to a building condition (no water) staff and students of Legacy School for Integrated Studies located at 34 West 14th Street have relocated to Health Professions and Human Services located at 345 East 15th St. They will be dismissed from Health Professions.
