This page is the first step in the enrollment process. It contains the agreements you must accept in order to enroll in the Notify NYC program. You must agree to all of the statements by clicking the checkbox to the left of each of the agreements. Click the underlined text to read the full Privacy Statement.
The use of the CAPTCHA image is intended to prevent mass registrations by an unauthorized system. Enter the text that you see from the image into the text box, or select the audio icon and enter the text you hear. This is not case sensitive. Click the “I Agree” button.
The next step in the enrollment process is to enter the required information about your preferences.
Notify NYC is offered for informational purposes to help make the public aware of emergencies and other planned incidents in New York City. While the City of New York will at all times attempt to provide accurate and timely information, under the circumstances, the City cannot guarantee its accuracy or timeliness.
Registration for Notify NYC is voluntary and available to those who answer the question below and agree to the foregoing terms. Once you have provided an answer to the age question and accepted the terms, the "I Agree" button will become available for you to click or tap.
Information provided to register for Notify NYC will be used by the City and agents of the City to communicate only the information that registrants have elected to receive. The service will not be used for marketing, nor will the data be sold, loaned, rented or provided to any third party for use for any other reason than Notify NYC messages. Registrant names are provided on a voluntary basis only, and registrants may change any of their contact information at any time, suspend service, or unsubscribe from the service. Email addresses are required for usernames, and cross streets or street address are required for notifications to be targeted to registrants' places of interest.

The word in the image box cannot be read by a computer and must be entered manually. This helps to prevent automated scripts from sending requests. Automated scripts are used to gain unauthorized access to accounts and systems, and adversely affect our systems.
