Notify NYC - Travel Advisory 2/5-2/6
Notification issued at 2/5/16 at 6:30 PM. With temperatures expected to drop below freezing Friday evening, melted snow can turn to ice/black ice causing dangerously slick driving conditions. New Yorkers should exercise caution when traveling tonight, Friday, February 5 and tomorrow, Saturday, February 6. The National Weather Service forecasts nighttime temperatures Friday to be below freezing, with wind chill values between 20 and 30 degrees. Temperatures Saturday will increase to the low 40s. Notification issued 2/5/16 at 6:30 PM. A fireworks display is scheduled to take place on February 6, at approximately 8:30 PM off Pier 84, located at Hudson River Greenway west of 44th Street in Manhattan.

Notification issued 2/5/16 at 3:26 PM. Following an earlier closure, all lanes on the upper level of the Verrazano Bridge have reopened. Expect residual delays.

Notification issued 2/5/16 at 2:18 PM. Due to an icing condition, all lanes on the upper level of the Verrazano Bridge in both directions are closed in both directions. Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time.
