Notification issued 9/23/17 at 12:00 PM. The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K Run amp; Walk will take place this Sunday, September 24, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. This event starts in Brooklyn at the IKEA parking lot in Red Hook (1 Beard St), proceeds through the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel to West St, north on West St to Liberty St, west on Liberty St through Battery Park City, to end at West St and Vesey St in Manhattan. One tube of the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel will close tonight at 10 PM. The other tube will have one lane open in each direction until 7:45 AM, when both tubes will be fully closed until 3 PM for the event. The missing has Alzheimer's and may be in need of medical attention. Description: 5'9" tall, 150lbs, brown eyes with grey hair and a missing tooth. Notification issued 9/22/17 at 6:40 AM. UPDATE: The National Weather Service has issued coastal flood products for Brooklyn, Staten Island, and southern Queens. The affected area includes the Atlantic Ocean beaches, and along the south shore bays, Jamaica Bay, lower New York Harbor, and the Arthur Kill. Tidal departures of 1-2 1/2 feet above normal are expected. See the individual products below: - Coastal Flood Statement for Staten Island is in effect from today, 9/22 until 2:00 AM on 9/23. - The Coastal Flood Advisory for Brooklyn and southern Queens is in effect from today, 9/22 until 4:00 am on 9/23. During a Coastal Flood Advisory, minor flooding of the most vulnerable shore roads and/or properties is possible.
