Notify NYC - Flash Flood Watch
Notification issued 7/23/17 at 4:25 PM. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for New York City midnight tonight until 11:00 AM, 7/24. Excessive runoff from rainfall may cause flooding of urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses, as well as any other drainage areas and low-lying spots. Do not drive your vehicle or walk into areas where the water covers the roadway; the water depth may be too great to allow you to cross safely. If you lose power and have a disability or access needs, or use Life Sustaining Equipment (LSE) and need immediate assistance, please dial 9-1-1.
