Increased Risk of Brush Fires - 4/24/14 (CW)
Notification issued 4/23/14 at 6:35 PM. The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for New York City and surrounding areas from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM tomorrow, 4/24/14. A Red Flag Warning means a combination of dry brush and gusty wind conditions support fire danger. Exercise extra caution when using outdoor gas and charcoal grills. In addition, smokers should never carelessly discard cigarettes. Immediately report a brush fire to 911. CERT Exercise - 4/23 (BK)
Notification issued 4/23/14 at 3:00 PM. As part of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training class, there will be a controlled fire outside of 2630 Benson Avenue in Brooklyn tonight from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Subway Restoration - B/D Trains (BK/MN)
Notification issued 4/23/14 at 7:37 AM. Following an earlier suspension, B train service has resumed in both directions between Prospect Park in Brooklyn and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. D train service has also resumed between Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. Expect residual delays.

Subway Suspension - B/D Trains (BK/MN)
Notification issued 4/23/14 at 7:25 AM. Due to a train with mechanical problems on the Manhattan Bridge, there is no B train service between Prospect Park in Brooklyn and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. There is also no D train service between Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and 2nd Avenue in Manhattan. Expect delays and consider alternate routes.

Film Shoot - 4/23/14 (QN)
Notification issued 4/22/14 at 4:55 PM. On Wednesday, April 23, the filming of a TV series will involve special effects with smoke billowing from the roof and 4th floor of a building on Review Ave between 37th Street and Laurel Hill Boulevard, Queens. The sequence will take place between 10 AM - 3 PM; no flames will be involved. FDNY and NYPD will be on site.
